This book is presently out of print and I have given it a very necessary rewriting--in my humble opinion For almost all of my life I've been drawn to the time of Elizabeth I. I even took it so far as to make myself historically accurate Elizabethan costumes for the Renaissance Faire. (Oh, the hours I spent, needle and thread in hand as I cartridge-pleated skirts, pearled sleeves and wrapped lace to make a ruff!) At any rate the chance to visit that time in a book was alluring, indeed.
Here's your blurb:
Commanded by her grandfather to snare a wealthy husband, Anne Blanchemain enters the lavish court of Queen Elizabeth. The beautiful, if not so innocent Anne is a lamb among wolves, easy prey to treachery and an aging queen's jealousy. She never suspects that handsome courtier Christopher Hollier has been sent to ruin her. As Christopher's desire for Anne, and hers for him, sweep them both toward betrayal, they're caught in a dangerous game that could part them forever unless they defy crown and country for their own true love.
This is one of the best Elizabethan romances to come along in several years.

Denise Domning deserves a hearty round of applause and ovations for a story so true to the time period, one wonders if it didn't really happen. Kudos, Denise for such wonderful work!
