Thank you everyone for yet another amazing ride on Amazon’s best seller lists! This time Almost Perfect got as high as #36 FREE while The Warrior’s Maiden hung in the 40s. Out in the UK I ended up with 8 of my 10 Kindle books above 100 on the best selling Free/Paid Historicals. THANK YOU British readers for not only enjoying my books but commenting on my historical accuracy. Truly, my intention has always been to make other people love history as much as I do by entwining historical fact in a good story. Thanks again!

I’m starting this blog for two reasons. The first is that after working on Monica Sarli’s memoir for so long I’ve become somewhat fond of the memoir style. Don’t get me wrong. I’m going back to writing fiction , but it’s fun talking about what I’m doing.
The other is the mere fact I agreed to jump into another huge project with Ed, my husband. I have no doubt that our Green Acres will become Paradise Acres–someday. Why? Because we’re doing it and we’ve gotten pretty good at this stuff over the years. However, it’s also guaranteed that there are going to be moments, like when I lived with an open roof for six weeks in the middle of Phoenix’s winter rain season. (Yes, it rained.) I’m not repeating this journey alone. I’m taking the world with me this time.
Here’s hoping you enjoy the ride,
Denise

Hi Denise,
I have so enjoyed your books, recently discovered. Beautifully written and historically fabulous; I have really enjoyed the characters! Keep them coming.
Thanks so much! Now that I’m ready to put up the last of my old books, I’m working on developing a new Medieval mystery series. I’m thinking of setting it in Stanrudde, where Temric’s mother Alwyna lives. That will allow me to offer glimpses of the Seasons characters as time goes by.
