Thank you everyone for yet another amazing ride on Amazon’s best seller lists! This time Almost Perfect got as high as #36 FREE while The Warrior’s Maiden hung in the 40s. Out in the UK I ended up with 8 of my 10 Kindle books above 100 on the best selling Free/Paid Historicals. THANK YOU British readers for not only enjoying my books but commenting on my historical accuracy. Truly, my intention has always been to make other people love history as much as I do by entwining historical fact in a good story. Thanks again!

I’m starting this blog for two reasons. The first is that after working on Monica Sarli’s memoir for so long I’ve become somewhat fond of the memoir style. Don’t get me wrong. I’m going back to writing fiction , but it’s fun talking about what I’m doing.
The other is the mere fact I agreed to jump into another huge project with Ed, my husband. I have no doubt that our Green Acres will become Paradise Acres–someday. Why? Because we’re doing it and we’ve gotten pretty good at this stuff over the years. However, it’s also guaranteed that there are going to be moments, like when I lived with an open roof for six weeks in the middle of Phoenix’s winter rain season. (Yes, it rained.) I’m not repeating this journey alone. I’m taking the world with me this time.
Here’s hoping you enjoy the ride,
Denise
Hi Denise, I’ve been meaning to contact you to tell you how much I enjoyed Men-ipulation. Great read!! Can’t wait to read the next volume.
Hi Carol! Thanks so much for saying so. And just think…she’s your neighbor now.
Happy new year,
Denise

Thanks so much for your kind words! I’m so glad you enjoyed my guys. Denise
Hi Denise,
I have so enjoyed your books, recently discovered. Beautifully written and historically fabulous; I have really enjoyed the characters! Keep them coming.
Thanks so much! Now that I’m ready to put up the last of my old books, I’m working on developing a new Medieval mystery series. I’m thinking of setting it in Stanrudde, where Temric’s mother Alwyna lives. That will allow me to offer glimpses of the Seasons characters as time goes by.
I was referred to you by Vijaja after I told her I was looking for a collaborator on a non-fiction memoir.
My family and I were in a well publicized event and I ‘ve struggled with writing it alone.
The subject matter would definitely have national and worldwide appeal. Though our story was televised and had lots of attention, this devastating family problem still continues just with different faces and names involved. I’d love to talk with you or pick your brain about who else might be a good fit, if your not interested.

btw, I know I have written like three posts in ten minutes, wish i could just edit ones I already wrote. But your novels are so under rated. I got the season series for 99cents. I thought I was just getting a bunch of crap short stories when it said 5 novels in one i thought they would be like 10 pages. so happy i was wrong. even happier they have all taken me on adventures i will never forget.
Just read your very 1st novel, that I found at the local library book sale last weekend, and loved it. Looking forward to reading your other books. What a treat to search you on the internet and find a farm-girl. We also have animals and are looking forward to actual farming on our move to Idaho next year. Thank you for the wonderful story.
Thanks so much Laura! So glad you enjoyed the novel and good luck with the farm. It’s tons of work but we don’t want to do anything else,
Denise
I am in love with your books. I stumbled upon Winter’s heat and decided to get the whole series. I fell in with the characters and just wanted more. I am currently am reading spring’s fury and can’t wait to read about what the other characters will experience. I have read the first two books in just one day on my kindle while I enjoy my spring break home with my kids.
Wow! Thanks Kasey. I’m so glad I’m making spring break fun! Thanks for making my day,
Denise
